Scott Whittle – President

Scott, born and raised in Northern Kentucky, graduated from Lloyd High School before earning degrees in Construction, Architecture, and Business from the University of Cincinnati. He began his career with Hummel Industries, Inc. in 1998 and has since played an integral role in building strong client relationships and delivering successful projects.

Working closely with new and existing clients, Scott ensures their property needs are met with precision, keeping projects on schedule and within budget. His leadership extends beyond Hummel, serving as President of the Board of Directors at Allied Construction Industries and contributing to the Building Committee for the Emanuel Community Center in Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine neighborhood.

Outside of work, Scott enjoys photography, golf, and spending time with his wife Elaine, their two children, and grandson.

Matt Privett – Vice President

Matt began his career with Hummel in 2004 as an apprentice, quickly advancing through the ranks thanks to his dedication and leadership. After becoming a foreman, his expertise in masonry and stonework led to a promotion in 2014 to Estimator/Project Manager, and again in 2020 to Vice President.

With first-hand field experience and deep technical knowledge, Matt develops tailored repair and maintenance programs that meet each client’s unique facility needs. His approach combines practical know-how with a commitment to delivering quality results.

In his free time, Matt is an avid hunter and enjoys spending time with his wife Loreli and their three boys.
